The military likes the efficiency of a MOAB dropped on his compound. Risking high value people like they did to get Osama is not something the really like to do, but they did, and it worked, and Obama picked Osama's pocket and double tapped him on top of it.

Most of the credit goes to the military, but the decision I believe was our President's. I commend him for it. I don't expect to be complementing him again, nor do I expect him to "pivot," nor will I or have I ever voted for the man.Hugh McBrydehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16926516260588481185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31762465.post-11038304356235301162011-05-13T23:45:18.634-04:002011-05-13T23:45:18.634-04:00He would have to pivot a long way around to get on...He would have to pivot a long way around to get on America's side. There are just too many things that rub many Americans the wrong way to convience they to believe him in the home stretch of his first term. I understand riding the crest of the current wave, but it is just too close to the beginning of the run for the second term. Most would not believe him to be sincere in his pivot. Beside, he has a base he has to satisfy, and they would not be happy campers if he did pivot. Sorry, too little, too late.Jim Killebrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02223723173030770040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31762465.post-48063908745506901062011-05-10T21:01:34.193-04:002011-05-10T21:01:34.193-04:00He's already blowing is slim chance faster tha...He's already blowing is slim chance faster than I thought he would.Hugh McBrydehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16926516260588481185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31762465.post-39598426575652448642011-05-10T17:30:32.340-04:002011-05-10T17:30:32.340-04:00Good post, Hugh. Which is why he won't do it.

Bill Clinton had the sense to reverse course when it became apparent that his presidency was becoming a train wreck. It got him re-elected and contributed to the generally high approval ratings he had as President.

Il Duce is not that bright. He's an ideologue through and through. He'll find some way to turn this chicken salad into chicken s***.Vulturehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11024818170161390657noreply@blogger.com
