Warren Jeffs Dying?

The court filing I pointed to yesterday, and speculated on is indeed about an emergency. Warren is dying.
Fox13Now - "Arizona officials say Jeffs is being force fed in an effort to save the life of the polygamous sect leader. In a letter written Friday and filed with the court in Mohave County Monday, Doctor Mortenson writes Jeffs 'has been unable to urinate for us. He is weaker and more debilitated than when I saw him two days ago. His vital signs are worse.' *

Mortenson went on to write 'this deterioration will continue to accelerate and become harder to reverse the longer it persists. His death could be imminent without immediate medical intervention.'

According to the letter, Jeffs refuses to eat. Force feeding and urine monitoring were put in place Friday morning for Jeffs, who is the leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in southern Utah and Arizona."
I have been busy most of the day, and unable to follow up on the story I discovered yesterday, which is that something is very wrong with the Leader of the FLDS church. This is sad indeed. I think he has a good chance of being vindicated and he's starving himself to death. *Renal Failure is a sign of impending death. Warren's death will also cut off an avenue of appeal of Walther's ruling, if it is against the motion to suppress. That's akin to abandoning his flock in Texas.
Washington Examiner/AP - "Mohave County sheriff's spokeswoman Trish Carter said force feeding of Jeffs started Friday at the Kingman, Ariz., jail after it was found he was not eating. Jeffs subsequently started eating on his own again and continued doing so until Monday night, she said.

But (Today), Jeffs again refused to eat and is now being force-fed via a tube down his throat that delivers liquid nutrition, Carter said."
The reports are conflicting. Is he/isn't he eating on his own? The story changes from hour to hour.

if he is in renal failure, efforts to restore renal function would be more effective if performed intravenously rather than orally via the nasogastric tube. Is this a half hearted attempt to save him? probably...

It's bad to lose a high profile detainee.

If he dies before prosecution he's an innocent martyr. If the truth against him is presented in court, he is a sadistic child rapist hiding behind the cover of religion. I pray daily for his good health.
