Just standing there, and then he's dead.

of course, not JUST standing there. standing there with the other rebels, in opposition to his government. Just one of the predictable consequences of rebellion.

Professor,

I am of the opinion that Iran's Government is a bunch of bandits. They have a compact with their people to allow the election by popular vote, of a president. There is more than ample evidence to suggest that the vote of the people was ignored, not the least of which is the sheer size of the crowds in the streets, a sort of "voice vote" of the people, and with regard to Ahmadinejad, the "nays" seem to have it.

If Mir-Hossein Mousavi Khameneh polled the kind of numbers he is alleged to have polled, he is the President, those men pretending to be the Government are rebels and usurpers. Better armed, augured in, but rebels nonetheless. The problem, it would seem, for the demonstrators taking the election thieves seriously, is that they do not know anyone who voted for Ahmadinejad.

Now get your tongue out of your cheek, it's weird looking for a 254 year old.
