I don't know if any other wag has pointed this out yet, but it's no longer "Tax and Spend," it's "Spend, then Tax." It's like being taken to dinner, only to find that you've been stuck with the bill and your date has skipped out the bathroom window. Want to find out where your Tea Party is? Read on.
Cynical Vox doesn't think it will make a difference, but has the map up anyway for you to
find your Tea Party.

Thank you for the Tea Party post.
A lot of different cities in Utah are having them. Attorney General Mark Shurtleff is speaking and handing out copies of the Constitution in Salt Lake City.https://twitter.com/GenerallySpking
This is one more thing that officials will have to try to reconcile - their love for this country and the Constitution must be applied to all who are covered by it. In school I was taught that colonists fed to America because of religious persecution. All those who cherish their heritage, or embrace a new heritage, should have equal protection.
Keep up the good work!

I went to my tea party and told some war protesters that war was the answer. Hehehehehe....
The thing that gets me about these events is that the vast majority of people aren't putting teeth in this protest - without a doubt, the vast majority of them already filed in the last few days.
If they really want to see results, they should stop filing income tax returns en masse. And these protests should have been outside IRS offices, not at courthouses and parks.
I've been looking at not filing any more for a few years. I think you can probably get yourself in a lot of trouble if you do it haphazardly. Dave Champion over at nontaxpayer.org seems to know what he is doing. I'm at the stage now where I need to find an employer who is not so afraid of the IRS that they'll accept my declination to file a w-4. That's one of the filings that get's you into the whole mess to begin with. The other option is to quit "employment" alltogether and try to live off the land, selling rutabagas enough to pay my property taxes. I'm not there yet. :)
