The sheriff also said there was a pattern of misconduct when six Colorado City police officers were decertified as law enforcement officers in recent years.What does this really mean? To borrow from Sean Hannity's "Liberal Translation" shtick, this really means "We don't know of a crime, we haven't found a crime, but we'll keep looking until we can charge someone with a crime."
At the March meeting, Mohave County Attorney Matt Smith said his office will continue to look into allegations of sexual conduct with underage girls in Colorado City by members of the polygamist church."
Are they patrolling drug ridden neighborhoods with the same zeal?

I would say that statement by the Sheriff is clear evidence of profiling, and the towns people would be right to file a civil rights law suit over it.
What laws aren't being enforced in Short Creek. Are drug dealers and prostitutes roaming the streets? Are the local police ignoring calls for robberies, assaults, thefts, etc? From what I understand, the sheriff's dept. are just driving around pulling people over left and right for traffic infractions, do they expect their patrol officers to spot supposed "abuse" going on by driving thru the neighborhoods, perhaps in the bushes or something? If anyone has the numbers of "abuse victims" who escaped to their trailer since they put it there, please let us know.
